蘋果藍寶石螢幕好神？傳兼具太陽能充電功能

蘋果iPhone 6將採用藍寶石玻璃螢幕的謠傳如火如荼，如今Seeking Alpha投資部落格作家Matt Margolis抽絲剝繭，推測蘋果還打算在藍寶石玻璃螢幕內面刻蝕線路，打造高效能的太陽能電池，為iPhone供電。

蘋果擁抱藍寶石材料，和極特先進科技(GT Advanced Technologies Inc.)簽約合作。據稱極特已將iPhone藍寶石保護螢幕的成本，從每支13-18美元的高價，壓低到3-5美元，與蘋果現今採用Gorilla Glass保護玻璃的每支3美元相去不遠。 Margolis表示，藍寶石螢幕對蘋果無比重要，是因該公司需要藍寶石保護裝置內的「酷玩意」。

若iPhone 6採用藍寶石螢幕，指紋辨識功能可以不用侷限在Home鍵，能用整個觸控螢幕認證指紋。藍寶石玻璃硬度僅次於鑽石，防刮耐受性極強。極特先進科技行銷長Jeff Nestel-Patt曾表示，就算把藍寶石水晶玻璃拿來敲碎水泥，上面也完全不會留下刮痕。

藍寶石螢幕不僅能保護iPhone，Margolis分析蘋果專利、徵才啟事和儀器訂單，判斷藍寶石螢幕將整合太陽能充電功能，有了內建的太陽能面板，不怕電池續航力不足，可以縮減電池的體積重量，新iPhone將更加輕薄。

Margolis推論的證據包括，蘋果聘請有太陽能經驗的薄膜製程工程師，可能是要開發薄膜太陽能電池。另外，美國專利暨商標局去年10月31日發布蘋果專利申請，此為一種特殊太陽能電力管理系統，可內建於行動裝置之內，而不需再外接電源轉換器，暗示未來iPhone、iPad與MacBook等將可透過太陽能充電。
