【周佩萱／綜合外電報導】加州面臨153年來最低降雨量，加上近來洛杉磯又遭野火肆虐，更讓儲水量吃緊，水庫水位低下，州長傑瑞布朗(Jerry Brown)17日宣布加州進入旱災緊急狀態，要求居民和企業自願減少2成用水量，水公司也會調配用水，舒緩缺水困境。

屬於地中海型氣候的加州，定期就會遭遇乾旱，不過今年狀況格外嚴重，農場牧場面臨缺水之苦，還有高度引發火災的威脅。

宣告進入旱災緊急狀態，將可讓農民更容易透過交換項目購買到水，並加速中央運水到加州。
