得分集中在第一節的林書豪，到第三節還無法再進帳分數，還在一開始就發生失誤，在兩度投籃失手後，抓了個籃板。

而在第三節初，兩隊超過1分半鐘沒有得分，之後才由手感火燙的Terrence Jones拿下分數，公鹿喊出短暫停後，火箭以64比52領先。

火箭以三分火力見長，但近來發揮的場次屈指可數，結果反而是Dwight Howard投進三分球，讓火箭來到87比73領先，這是他本季第2顆三分球，第五度出手，板凳區隊友為之瘋狂。

這一顆三分球不過是火箭本場截至目前為止第3記，而且Howard已經拿下20分、12籃板，他生涯雙十數據最多的場次就來自公鹿。

第三節打完火箭91比78領先。

林書豪得分仍在7分。
