（中央社記者曾依璇布魯塞爾19日專電）歐洲議會近日通過一項決議，基因改造玉米「先鋒1507」不應拿來商業種植，因為這種玉米的「抗蟲花粉」可能傷害一般蝴蝶和蛾。

歐洲議員呼籲歐洲聯盟部長理事會撤回先前所作的許可建議，並要求歐盟執行委員會在風險評估方式改良之前，不要提出或更新任何基因改造品種的許可。

歐洲議員反對基因改造玉米上市，並指歐盟執委會缺乏針對生態系統及環境的特定保護條件。

基改作物生產者「先鋒」（Pioneer）公司曾指「先鋒1507」玉米（Pioneer 1507）對鱗翅目昆蟲的風險小到可忽視，因為這種玉米的抗蟲花粉並不是針對鱗翅目。

但歐盟食品安全局（EFSA）於2012年2月提出意見，明顯不認同這個說法，認為仍有風險。

歐洲議會也提及，「先鋒1507」是用來抵抗含有「草銨膦」的除草劑，但歐盟把草銨膦列為有毒且不利繁衍的物質，2017年以後將禁止使用。1030119
