50萬顆聖誕燈泡　創住宅燈飾紀錄

【國際中心／綜合外電報導】聖誕節燈飾燈泡要多少才是美麗見仁見智，但數量可以算得出來。澳洲男子理查茲（David Richards）在坎培拉住處附近掛起逾50萬顆的耶誕燈飾，締造新的金氏世界紀錄。
 
根據美聯社的報導，理查茲一家以50萬2165顆的聖誕燈飾改寫住宅耶誕燈飾紀錄，之前的紀錄為34萬6283顆，巧合的是，再之前的紀錄也是理查茲一家所創，當時用的燈泡為33萬1038顆。
 
據稱，理查茲使用了超過50公里長的電線來讓燈飾發光，23日開放參觀，並為慈善機構募款。理查茲表示所有聖誕燈飾都自掏腰包購買，當地電力公司也很阿沙力，決定共襄盛舉，贊助燈飾所需的2500澳幣（約台幣7萬元）電費。
