前外長呼籲 禁止參與敘戰澳洲人回國

澳洲前外交部長卡爾(Bob Carr)今天(28日)表示，澳洲政府應考慮禁止參與敘利亞戰爭的澳洲人回國。

卡爾是1個月前才下台的工黨政府外交部長。他今天在接受澳洲廣播公司(Australian Broadcasting Corp)訪問時表示，在擔任外長時，幕僚曾告訴他，不准參與敘利亞戰爭的澳洲人回國是違法的，因為這樣做會使這些人成為沒有國家的人。

但卡爾呼籲新政府，尋求合法的方案，禁止參與敘利亞戰爭的澳洲人回國。

澳洲安全官員擔心，這些參加過敘利亞戰爭的人，思想可能因此變得激進，將增加澳洲境內恐怖主義的威脅。
