【朱俊彥／台中報導】8日凌晨3時許，許姓男子(23歲)酒後載著高姓女友，行經市府、民權路，與另一名酒駕陳姓騎士(34歲)發生擦撞車禍，警方接獲路人報案到場時，陳男倒地，許男及高女已離開，陳男經呼氣酒測值達0.6毫克，警調閱監視器，循線在台中醫院找到許男及高女。 

許男經呼氣酒測值達0.47毫克，警方問他為何要肇事逃逸，他供稱，是因高女腳受傷流血不止，所以先載她去就醫，非故意肇逃。由於陳、許2人都坦承酒駕肇事，訊後均被依公共危險罪嫌移送法辦，許男多加一條肇事逃逸。
