【綜合報導】南非1日晚間發生重大車禍意外，一輛巴士高速衝撞路邊護欄，造成8人死亡，62人輕重傷的慘劇。
 
根據當地媒體報導，這輛行駛在梅摩斯（Melmoth）鎮高速公路上的巴士1日晚間翻車後滑向路邊，再撞倒護欄，2名婦女與6名男子因傷重而當場死亡。隨後趕至現場救援的護理人員表示，護欄因撞擊力道太大，還刺穿巴士的擋風玻璃。
