【蔡永彬／台北報導】今天是台北市立動物園的大貓熊寶寶「圓仔」54日齡，比起出生時，牠的體重已增長了17倍。不過，大貓熊幼仔在母體內發育很不完善，感官系統也沒有完全建立；媽媽靠聲音了解幼仔需求，雙方再搭配嗅覺交流，大貓熊在2月齡以前，幼仔幾乎沒有主動移位能力。

圓仔出生時，身上毛髮稀疏，只見粉色皮膚，得靠保溫箱或媽媽圓圓抱著保溫；等黑白色的毛髮長出來後，圓圓會放圓仔在鋪著樹葉的「嬰兒床」上睡覺。北市動物園表示，相對來說，身體顏色同樣是黑與白，馬來貘就非常早熟；新生小馬來貘出生沒多久就能自己活動，2週大時下顎就會長出2顆門牙，開始跟著媽媽學啃嚼樹葉。
