百貨業者祭出各式特賣會，更舉辦小畫家比賽，讓民眾帶著喜歡畫東畫西的家中寶貝，把握最後的暑假時光。

開學日即將到來，百貨業者不僅祭出多項優惠，同時舉辦兒童著色賽，家長把握機會帶家中小朋友參與活動，評選為小畫家的優勝者還能獲得精美獎品；不僅能幫小朋友添購新文具，讓小朋友開心上學去，還能趁著優惠檔期順路血拼衣櫃新貨，業者也祭出多達3萬雙的鞋款優惠，讓民眾能購買耐走時尚新鞋。
板橋大遠百舉辦開學商品展，除了有開學滿額送可愛小禮之外，最有趣的是舉辦兒童著色賽，從3歲到國小6年級的小朋友都能參加，只要購買開學用品，就能參加活動索取比賽專用繪圖畫紙，發揮小畫家的愛繪畫因子，評選為優勝畫家的小朋友還能獲頒精美獎品。
除了小朋友能玩得開心之外，大人們也可以順路血拼，幫自己和全家人添購新貨，遠東百貨推出全面折扣最低2折起的多品牌女裝特賣會、全面7折起的精品手錶年中出清、290元起的秋冬童裝特賣會、以及下殺2折的成套西服，能趁著優惠期間選購時尚穿搭用品。
而太平洋SOGO百貨忠孝館祭出全面2.2折起的50大男女鞋品牌特賣會，超過3萬雙的流行男女童鞋同場販售，即日起到9/1，推出下殺500元有找的每日一物驚喜價，鞋款風格多元，無論是撞色拼接、龐克潮流或是甜美風格、新鮮人面試必備的紳士鞋及淑女鞋也能找得到，各種款式應有盡有，讓民眾買到好鞋帶著家中寶貝一同出遊。
