以「創新·合作·分享：終身學習與人類發展，終身學習與中國夢」為主題的2013海峽兩岸終身學習世紀峰會將於8月22日上午在福州開幕。

以『創新·合作·分享：終身學習與人類發展，終身學習與中國夢』為主題的2013海峽兩岸終身學習世紀峰會將於8月22日上午在福州開幕。
根據臺灣網報導，據介紹，活動將邀請海峽兩岸及國外學者作主題演講，舉辦高端學術研討會、征集學術論文。目前，已收到學術論文約60篇，近50萬字。絕大多數為原創論文，對推動終身教育的發展具有很強的指導性。
福建於2005年就頒布大陸第一部終身教育地方法規，並多次舉辦『海峽兩岸職業教育與終身教育研討會』、『海峽兩岸終身學習大講堂』，創辦《終身教育》雜誌和創建『中國終身教育網』，為終身教育理念的研究和傳播提供良好的平台。
此次峰會由福建省全民終身教育促進會、省中華職業教育社與臺灣成人及終身教育學會共同舉辦。
