中東國家黎巴嫩首都貝魯特15日發生汽車爆炸案，至少造成20人喪生，超過200人受傷。外界研判，這起爆炸案可能是黎巴嫩教派間衝突所為。
黎巴嫩官方通訊社報導，15日的爆炸襲擊發生在貝魯特南郊住宅和商店密集的住宅區，當場造成8人死亡、291人受傷，黎巴嫩總統蘇萊曼和看守政府總理米卡提對這場攻擊事件發表譴責。
上(7)月9日，貝魯特南郊伊斯蘭合作銷售中心附近的停車場也發生汽車炸彈攻擊，造成50多人受傷。
貝魯特南郊是黎巴嫩真主黨的大本營，當地居民大多數支持真主黨。由於真主黨受伊朗支持、對以色列持強硬立場、支持敘利亞政府軍對反對派作戰，因此以色列、敘利亞反對派在黎巴嫩的支持者多次揚言要對真主黨的目標發動襲擊。
