【汪智博、黃瑞娟／台東報導】一名蘇姓女子（21歲）跟一名友人前往台東遊玩，今天上午搭乘輕航機從德高台地起飛，飛抵電光橋南下一公里處、上空約百公尺高度的時候，蘇女突然向輕航機駕駛說「今天我生日」，隨後就自己解開安全扣環，從機上往下跳墜落溪谷，警消獲報後，將蘇女送往關山慈濟醫院救治，仍不治死亡。
