抽母血檢測基因，未來將全面禁止。衛生署表示，為防堵業者以驗遺傳疾病為名，行篩檢胎兒性別之實，將在近期預告禁止所有抽母血的基因檢測，並清查基因檢測醫療器材是否符合規範。

衛生署昨召開出生性別比工作會議，禁止所有母血基因檢測，也將清查市面基因檢測醫材是否合格，並加強檢驗機構與生技公司管理。未來實施後，違法的醫師將罰十萬到五十萬，醫檢師則罰一萬到五萬元。若是無照執業者，可處以兩年以下有期徒刑，得併科三萬到十五萬罰金。～聯合報2013年 6月29日頭版頭條
