為了阻撓大陸漁船在釣魚台附近海域的正常作業，日本方面派出日本海上自衛隊艦船，並協同駐日美軍艦船，意圖干擾大陸漁民的正常作業行動。不料，多艘隸屬於日本宮崎縣的金槍魚捕撈船被日本自衛隊艦只和美軍艦艇斬斷了拖網纜繩。

人民網訊：日前，為了阻撓大陸漁船在釣魚台附近海域的正常作業，日本方面派出日本海上自衛隊艦船，並協同駐日美軍艦船，意圖干擾大陸漁民的正常作業行動。不料，多艘隸屬於日本宮崎縣的金槍魚捕撈船被日本自衛隊艦只和美軍艦艇斬斷了拖網纜繩。軍事專家孟祥青在26日接受央視《今日關注》欄目採訪時表示，日方此舉表明，未來日本或動用軍事力量進一步侵犯我方主權。針對釣魚台局勢，我方應做好『最壞的準備』。
根據中國經濟網報導，孟祥青表示，雖然日美此次行動是『偷雞不成蝕把米』，但確實向我方提出一個新的問題，其中兩個資訊值得高度關注：一是針對大陸漁船，日本海上自衛隊動用了軍事力量；二是這件事也預示著日本可能動用軍事力量，甚至日美兩國聯手動用軍事力量，對大陸正常捕撈作業的漁船進行干擾。
孟祥青進一步指出，如果事態發展到這一步，就是導致釣魚台危機升級的舉措。根據以往的做法，中方從不主動挑釁，但若遭受挑釁，必定後發制人，對等應對，甚至『你「得寸」，我們就「進尺」』。針對釣魚台局勢，中方要做好最壞的準備。
