雖然無緣晉級，但中華培訓隊透多一年多的集訓，實力有顯著的提升，雖然最後無緣前進亞洲盃，但這次遠征巴勒斯坦，讓球員吸取不少經驗，只是與外國球隊交手的機會，還需要再增加，也要考慮一下交手對象。
中華隊教練團觀察到，這次分組賽地主巴勒斯坦雖然被認為是「爐主」，但致力發展女足的他們，藉著與外隊交手，逐漸在進步，直接反應在比賽結果上，巴勒斯坦在最後一戰以1：1逼和印度。
木蘭女足有過一段輝煌歲月，但之後每下愈況，現在早跌出亞洲列強之林，顏士凱指出，要重返亞洲四強，還有很長的一段路要走。
顏士凱將為戰績負責請辭總教練，他語重心長表示，巴勒斯坦就是借鏡對象，要多與國外球隊交流，除承辦國際賽外，最快的辦法就是邀請賽，也不需要找來日本這等亞洲一級強權。 (接下一頁)
